Hello Toros! My name is Alyssa Heid and I am the 7th and 8th grade school counselor for Union Park. I recently received my Masters of Education in School Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I am from Minnesota but have been in Arizona for 17 years. I love being outdoors, going on hikes with my dog, playing golf, and tennis. I am so excited about starting my first year as a school counselor here at DVUSD and I am excited to support all students in their academic journey and social/emotional wellbeing. I will be at Union Park Mondays, Wednesdays, and every other Friday. Although I am the 7th and 8th grade counselor, I will assist and help all students when needed.
