I'm Ms. Davidson, one of the 8th grade Science Teachers. I am excited to be teaching at DVMS this year -Go Colts!! For 20 years I taught 4th and 5th grade in Teton Valley, Idaho and 8th grade Earth Science in Nampa, Idaho near Boise. In the Spring of 2009 I moved to the Phoenix, Arizona area and taught Equine and Animal Science for 2 years at Country Gardens Charter School K-12 and Science for 4 years at Norterra Canyon School K-8. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho with an emphasis in Science and Social Studies. Science is my passion. This year I am thoroughly enjoying my 8th-grade classes. What a wonderful group of children you are raising!! I hope they become passionate about Science too.
Although I have lived for the past several decades in Wyoming, Idaho and Arizona, I was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Davidsonville, Maryland near Annapolis. I love taking care of and riding horses, whitewater rafting and kayaking, camping and writing. I raised 3 wonderful children (1 son and 2 daughters), have 2 fantastic son-in-laws, a fantastic daughter-in-law and 8 incredible grandchildren!! My desire this year is to inspire your children to think like a Scientist and create like an Engineer!!
